Englishman Claude Buckle (1905-1973) was an accomplished painter known for railway posters, carriage prints, and fine oil and watercolor paintings. Presented here is an original 1930s travel poster with Buckle's depiction of Shrewsbury's Ireland's Mansion, built in 1575 for a wealthy wool merchant, John Ireland.
